Story
In the studies conducted in Turkey, the shapes and stamps used in rugs were generally evaluated depending on the village, district and city where they were made. However, the history of culture expresses a process. Since the Turkish tradition of rugs and stamps also has a history of thousands of years, we cannot ignore the historical past when evaluating them. Stamps are an important issue that cannot be understood and named based on the reading of the letters in the Monuments of Orhun. For this reason, the world of stamps and shapes used in rugs is not a simple area where everyone will rule. Because they are the products of a mentality and a deep historical past. Dr. Mustafa AKSOY
