A cooperation protocol was signed between Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum and Demirözü Hayvancılık Nakliyat Gıda İnşaat Limited Şirketi.

With the protocol, Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum will provide support for the company to develop its production capabilities, increase its market share, create brand value and have a sustainable financial structure. As a result of all these, it will contribute to the beginning of the “reverse migration” phenomenon, which is the founding purpose of the museum.

Museum Founder Kenan Yavuz, who signed the protocol text at the ceremony held in the museum, said that the future of the world is focused on food supply security and that sustainable development and food supply production are also extremely important for Bayburt.

Stating that such a protocol was perhaps the first time such a protocol was signed between a museum and an agricultural enterprise, Kenan Yavuz said, “We will act together to achieve rural development by working local dynamics. Here, we will support agriculture in a structure that is suitable for the geographical characteristics of Bayburt with high quality standards.”

Company Representative Servet Çiğdem stated that Kenan Yavuz will provide them with great support with his multi-faceted perspective and said, “We see this protocol as a historical step that will accelerate the ‘reverse migration’ from the city to the village.”

The following items were included in the signed cooperation protocol:

“It has been decided to cooperate between Kenan Yavuz Culture Foundation and Demirözü Livestock Transportation Food Construction Limited Company to achieve the following objectives.

1- To use the brand value created as a result of the international successes achieved by the ethnography museum established in Bayburt Beşşpınar village by Kenan Yavuz Culture Foundation with mechanisms that will contribute to rural development.

2- To develop production capabilities together with Demirözü Livestock Transportation Food Construction Limited Company, which is established in Demirözü district and has established a sufficient level of infrastructure in terms of both its machine park, land portfolio and production capability.

3- To create a production range that is compatible with the soil and climate structure of the region, while remaining loyal to Good Agricultural Practices, and to present the products to be produced to the market with quality, logistics, packaging and content information that will meet the expectations of the end consumer.

4- To create brand value in both agricultural and livestock products that are compatible with the principles of sustainable development methodology, activate the production capabilities of the region, contribute to the development and employment of the region.

5- To establish the necessary mechanisms to achieve the targeted goals, to have a sustainable financial structure by reaching national and international financial supports.

6- To encourage agricultural production by reducing modern agricultural practices and good agricultural practices to the micro-producer level, and at the same time, to prevent migration from rural to urban areas in the first place and to contribute to the beginning of the “reverse migration” phenomenon, which is the basic mission of the Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum.
