Harman Festival

Kenan Yavuz, which opened the 2020 summer season with “Scythe Mower”, “Boning”, “Baking Bread in Tandoori” festivals, continues its festivities with the “Harman Festival”. The festival, which will start on Saturday, July 25 at 14:00, will be broadcast live on the “kenanyavuzetnografya” instagram page. The festival, which will be accompanied by our esteemed Advisory Board Members, will be made by using agricultural tools that have been used by manpower in the region for centuries to harvest the crops by hand with a scythe, hitting a bunch and making a vineyard. After drinking ayran soup under a horse carriage, the wheat vineyards will be loaded on the cart and brought to the threshing in the museum, and the first day will be finished. On Sunday, July 26, the festival will start again at 14:00. By hitting the crochet threshing machine, the wheat and hay will be separated and the wheat will be loaded into sacks and the straw will be loaded into the gang.
